The Uttar Pradesh government has introduced five special weekend religious tour packages to make pilgrimage travel easier for devotees. The initiative has been launched under the “Visit My State” campaign and aims to connect people with some of the state’s most important spiritual destinations, including Ayodhya, Naimisharanya, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, and Vindhyachal.
According to the state government, these tours will operate regularly and provide a comfortable and affordable travel experience for pilgrims. The popular “Sugam Darshan” service to Ayodhya has now been made a permanent part of the campaign following strong public demand.
Easy Online and Offline Booking Available
To encourage religious tourism, the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) has simplified the booking process. Travelers can book these tour packages through both online and offline modes.
Bookings can be made through the official UPSTDC website. Special discounts are also available for group bookings. The government says these tours have been designed to offer a hassle-free experience for devotees and tourists.
Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh stated that these services will continue regularly and will not be canceled even if only a few passengers register for a journey.
Lucknow to Ayodhya Sugam Darshan Tour
The one-day Ayodhya tour will operate every Saturday and Sunday.
